Stockmann is the leading Finland network of shopping centers. In Riga it offers top-class goods. Shopping area 11 000 m², 4 floors. Underground parking is currently for 76 cars. Plans to expand underground parking to 300 cars have been evaluated by Solvers engineers in frames of transportation impact study.

Linstow — the pioneer in shopping centre development in the Baltic region and the market leader in Latvia — is about to introduce its largest and most exciting project ever — Riga Retail Park. Linstow has chosen Riga as the location for the first large-scale retail park and expects to attract customers from the entire Baltic region, which is home to approximately 7.5 million people. It shall become the largest retail park in the Baltic, both in terms of size and choice. On a site of more than 75 hectares of land, the Riga Retail Park is located within a seven minute drive from the Riga International Airport and within a fifteen minute drive from the Riga city centre.

Zunda Centre will be developed in a new business and commercial centre on a 10 ha land plot located on the left-hand bank of the Daugava River. The land plot is situated close to the city’s main transport arteries going in the direction of Tallinn and Vilnius and commands convenient transport links with the Riga city centre and the sleeping districts. Project development will take place on the territory of a former forestry machinery plant on Daugavgrivas Street.

The "Park & Ride" and Regional Culture Centre project foresees development of the parking system outside of the city centre with goal to reduce traffic congestion in the Historic Centre of Riga. In frames of this project, company Solvers had evaluated different alternatives of Park & Ride integration with Riga’s public transport system.

Hanzas Crossing

Hanzas Crossing

Hanzas crossing development will reduce total traffic time, total distance, emissions in Riga city, introduce clear road hierarchy and improve traffic conditions on city centre bridges (Vansu bridge reducing traffic by 19%, Akmens bridge by 4%). The total length of the Hanzas crossing will be approx. 2 km from tunnel mouth to tunnel mouth. At a speed of 50 km per hour, this will offer motorists a journey time of approximately 2 - 3 minutes through the tunnel.

The greatest asset of Liepaya has always been its people - their unique achievements in culture, sports and social activities. Traffic management is particularly crucial in cities, like Liepaya, with unsystematic location of industrial, green and residential areas, in order to secure dynamic and sustainable development. Transportation impact study and traffic modeling had been performed for Liepaya city centre in order to meet human needs while preserving the environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for generations to come.
